A few house rules.
Round is for good questions and good company. Here’s how to keep it that way.
Play respectfully
Use Round only for lawful, respectful games. Do not post harmful, hateful or infringing content, impersonate others, probe private boards or disrupt live games. Hosts are responsible for reviewing their board and supervising their group.
Your boards
Only upload material you have permission to use. You keep your rights to your content. By sharing an unlisted board, you allow visitors with the link to play and remix it. Private boards are restricted to their owner’s browser. Anonymous ownership depends on your host cookie.
AI content
Generated clues can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Review answers before play. Round does not guarantee factual accuracy, game availability or a latency-neutral buzzer. AI generation may be limited or unavailable.
Paying for a bigger room
Players never pay. A host can buy a Night pass or a Host pass with a card through Stripe, or with PayPal. Round does not store the card number. A Host pass renews until it is canceled with Stripe or PayPal. A Night pass lasts 48 hours. These terms are still a draft.
Availability and moderation
This is an early product. Games may be interrupted. We may hide reported or inappropriate boards and apply reasonable limits to protect the service. Do not rely on Round for high-stakes decisions or assessments.
Before public launch
These terms are a draft. The service operator, contact details, jurisdiction, minimum age rules and complete legal terms must be finalized before a public launch.
